Student curators of upcoming YUAG exhibition take study trip to Boston

October 12, 2021

A group of students in Professor Marisa Bass’s independent study seminar (HSAR 512) recently traveled to Boston to meet with curators and conservators for lively discussions of potential loan works for an exhibition that will open in February 2023 at the Yale University Art Gallery. Provisionally entitled, “Thinking Small,” this multimedia exhibition grew out of a graduate seminar last spring and will focus on issues of touch, scale, and intricacy in seventeenth-century Dutch art. This exciting student-curated project is made possible through a collaboration between the Yale University Art Gallery and the Center for Netherlandish Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
