Selin Ünlüönen, Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History at Oberlin College

Selin Ünlüönen has been appointed as the Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History at Oberlin College. During her yearat Oberlin, she will teach a survey course on Islamic Art as well as a class on “Images in Translation: Word and Image Across Asia.” Following her dissertation about how manuscript paintings shaped court culture in early modern Iran, she will also use hertime to work on a new article about Ottoman alphabet books.
