Alexandra M. Thomas publishes a primer on “Rebellious Teaching”

Third year Ph.D. candidate Alexandra M. Thomas has published an article entitled “On Rebellious Teaching: Lessons from a Black Feminist Gallery Teacher” in Hazine, an open-access journal for researchers of the diverse Islamic Worlds. The essay is part of Hazine’s series on pedagogy, inclusivity and equity, and draws on Thomas’ extensive experience as a gallery teacher at the Yale University Art Gallery and other institutions.
