Savannah Marquardt

Savannah Sather Marquardt studies art, material culture, and religion of ancient Mediterranean, with a focus on archaic and classical Greece. Her research centers on depictions and experiences of the divine. She has particular interests in Magna Graecia and classical reception. 

Savannah received her B.A. in Classics from Princeton University and her M.A. from the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art. She has excavated for multiple seasons in northeastern Greece at the Molyvoti, Thrace Archaeological Project.
