Anabelle Gambert-Jouan

Anabelle Gambert-Jouan specializes in medieval European art, with a focus on sculpture between 1200 and 1500. She is writing a dissertation on the architectural, artistic, and religious environments of polychrome wood sculptures, primarily in Italy and Iberia. Anabelle received her B.A. in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, her M.St. in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of Oxford, and her M.Phil. in History of Art from Yale University. Anabelle currently serves as the Lillian and James H. Clark Assistant Curator of European Art at the Dallas Museum of Art.
