Soffia Gunnarsdottir studies Ancient Art. She received her M.A. with High Distinction from the University of Toronto and her B.A. from Hamilton College. In her research, Soffia focuses on the relationship between art and ritual in ancient Greece. This past summer, she was a Yale President’s Public Service Fellow working with New Haven high school students at the International Festival of Arts and Ideas, and conducted research in Greece on relationships between ritual objects and their use in sacred spaces. Soffia is currently a Graduate Curatorial Intern at the Yale University Art Gallery.
