Gavriella Levy Haskell

Gavriella Levy Haskell received her B.A. in art history and computer science from Smith College, and her M.A. in art history from the Courtauld. She focuses on late-Victorian and Edwardian painting and the construction of visual narrative, investigating everything from Edmund Blair Leighton’s anachronistic weddings to Briton Riviere’s frightened horses. Gavriella comes to Yale from the Digital Infrastructure and Emerging Technology department of the Harvard Art Museums, where she spent a year sonifying data and printing exhibition designs in plastic.
