Laura Phillips joined the History of Art department in 2012. Prior to Yale, she earned a B.S. in Fiber Science and Textile Design from Cornell University, a M.A. in Art History from American University, and studied philosophy at Georgetown University. Laura’s research interests include nineteenth and twentieth-century European art and intellectual history, as well as German art from Northern Renaissance to German Expressionism.
